Pattern Notes:

This pattern is worked from the front hem of the sweater to the back hem, then the sleeves are added and sides stitched closed. The stitch used is the “V-stitch” but as there seems to be variations of the stitch I have included detailed instructions on which one I used. The yarn used is “Big Twist Rainbow Classic – Peachy.” The hook I used was a J/10-5.75mm and my gauge was 5 Vstitches (base chain of 19) and 7 rows = 4.5”x4.5”

To summarize, you will:
Vstitch rows 1-20, 22-41 with 21 being a SC and chain row to leave a hole for the neck.
Create the sleeves by SC up each side and then DC in rows. Join back down the sides of the rows with slst on the sleeves and SC on the sides of the sweater (you can choose to slst, or even turn the sweater inside out when you are done, but I like the look of the SC as a visible seam down the sides of the sweater)
Finally create the bottom hem by SC two rows around the bottom, joining and turning at the end of the first row. Sometimes I create up to five rows of SC for my hem (created by joining and turning at the end of each row) depending on how you like the look.

NOTE: The size of this sweater is easily adjustable. The foundation chain just must be some multiple of 3, plus 7. I did 46 [(3x13)=39+7]
