Solid Hoodie Vest
Pattern Notes:
Pattern is worked from front hem of the vest up and over to the back hem, then stitched up the sides and finally the hood is added. It is worked in alternating rows of DC and SC.
After crocheting the right front shoulder, you will fasten off and crochet the respective rows on the left side. The pattern is written for them separately as Rows 34-36 “Right Side” and Rows 34-36 “Left Side” and abbreviated as RS Row XX and LS Row XX respectively.
For Step 25 (adding the trim around the hood) crocheting two stitches into the side of a DC row and one into the side of a SC row is a general rule, but I sometimes add or take away stitches to make my work lay nice. I ended up with 65 but you may end up with a few more or less depending on how you work your stitches. You may also want to use a smaller hook to work in the trim stitches so they fit nicer into the sides of your rows.
